WHAT DID YOU SAY!?

I got Widex hearing aids last year and find they are really quite helpful. I lost hearing in the higher frequencies and this corrects that perfectly. I checked out Consumer Reports and they rate Costco pretty well, and some of the other but more expensive ones like mine. The differences have to do with potential for change and reprogramming, warranties, support generally, parts like the ear pieces and wax filters, etc. The more expensive units essentially give you a lot of that and other support - and I have used it. They also will replace them twice if you lose them - reassuring for me. I can't wear them under noise control ear muffs, etc., but that doesn't bother me. I can hear most things without them, but it is just a lot better sound with them. Not sorry I got them - nor is my wife and family. These also have programs to change how they work in different surroundings, and a program for tinnitis. I have that as well but haven't turned on that feature yet. I'm told it works well - but my audiologist wants me to do a year without it for adjustment purposes before I turn that on.

Gave my wife a kiss this morning before she got out of bed (getting ready for church).

She said what I thought was "no smokers tonight". Of course I had this kind of dumb look on my face.

She said "No small group tonight".
