Now that its cold and wet in Va, my road to the pond is too soft drive on. Moved 60 tons of stone over the soft drive and the PT performed great!
Starts first turn at anything down to 40 degrees with no assistance.
Was in the 20s a few days ago and I used my propane heater on it but not long enough and it took a couple of starts to get it to go.

Maybe ice skating on the pond will be possible this year?
Merry Christmas

Finished up the electric diverter valve on the 1430. Used a Scorpion control handle with 3 switches. I wired it for the trigger switch to activate the 3rd valve switching the loader raise/lower circuit. I tried it out with the front hoe and it is a big improvement over have to move my hand to a different handle. It is also nice to switch implements without having to deal with the quick hitch hyd fittings.

Very nice install! Do you have room to add an additional circuit?

I believe I could mount it back to back, but it would start to intrude on that access hole PT is using for hoses. It also could be plumbed with hoses and installed anywhere. I wasn't planning on going with another circuit as I could revert back to original quick release maybe for the limited time you would need two. I can't picture too many implements that need 2 circuits, but time will tell.
I used the 3 switch handle because the Ryan's Log grapple has it's own diverter to change from grab to rotate and just needs elect signal.

The two things that I have that require 2 circuits are my V-plow and my swinging mini hoe. I permanently plumbed the quick disconnect but I like your idea of keeping the disconnects and replumbing if you need a second circuit infrequently. For me, the V-Plow and swinging mini hoe are the main things I use after the pallet forks and were the motivation for adding additional circuits. For just one circuit, I would leave it as factory - it never bothered me to use the lever. But not having to swap hydraulic lines is a very nice benefit.

Had a free hour, so pulled out some Mountain Laurel with the Titan tree puller. It is nice to have the steel roof on the ROPS, wonder if it is close to forestry rated? I am always afraid to crack the plastic ones on the Kubota, they are big $$$$

I don't know if they're forestry rated, but i had a largish limb, 3" come out of a fir probably from 20 feet up or so, hit the rops. Most of the firs are 100+ feet tall. I'm guessing it was from a prior wind storm, as the end didn't look like new wood. I backed into the tree pretty hard, which startled me, then a big bang/clang and bounce of the PT.

That is kind of why I thought about it, there was a 6" round dead tree being held up by these other trees and gave me some concern if it fell the wrong way, but it went as planned.

Living in the woods I have had tons of limb strikes. The largest was a 12” maple that ticketed straight down. While protected and the rops un damaged the ringing in my ears was constant for the rest of the day. I will say that the rops have hurt me bad once but saved me more than a dozen times.
