The filet of fish used to be one of the cheapest items.
I can still get potatoes for $3 a 10lb bag.
How the fast food places justify charging like $3-4 for a ( maybe one average size tater)medium fry?
I stopped going just because of the ripoff factor.
The drive thru is still backed up when I drive by.

That's 'cause the kid behind the counter has to make $18 bucks an hour. When he's making 18, everybody else further up the food chain gets more also.
