Yeah I have a small Bosch 12v that works well but needed some extra oompf so picked up the Ridgid. Was on sale ($60 off) and came with a battery, charger and case.

My 1/4 stuff is 12v Makita. Very good quality. It came in a set of impact and drill. Bought extra off brand batteries years ago - always one on the charger at the ready. These work great for small stuff. Light and nimble. The 1/2" drive can stretch threads so you gotta be careful hammering stuff in with it.

Yes, the 12v and 18v tool chargers I use are smart. Pretty much everything newer is smart now.

Never heard of them. Have you ever tried Red Kap?

Yes... a neighbor sells them and gave me one... it fit well and my first day wearing it snagged on a blackberry thorn and ripped :-(

I've snagged with the other shirts but never have I ripped a shirt... Ripstop Fabric means my work shirts just wear and wear until threadbare...

Maybe Red Kap has different grades?

I just paid our taxes and car/truck insurance
just a little under $1,000.00 so good for another year on property tax and 6 months
on vehicle insurance.
I think I pay $203.00 for all the attachments and tractor for a year.

Maybe, I only have one Red Kap shirt I bought just to try them out. I like it so far.
