Water separator for small air compressor.

I have a stationary compressor with a "radiator" of copper pipe before it runs to the point of use. Just cooling the air does a lot to stop the water at the point of use. Also, that Motor Guard filter works wonders. I have one set up as a portable unit (quick connect fittings) that I use when sandblasting and need really dry air.

What Motor Guard filter do you have 3T? They seem to make a slew of them as well as inline disposable filters.

Thanks to all who gave me a clue on this. It seems that it is best handled on several levels. 1. Tank drainer. 2. 25' of Ancillary air hose to first separator device. 3. Down stream separator . 4. Regular airline to tools, etc. from separator 5. Motor Guard disposable air line filter at or near terminal point.
Perhaps then it'll stop spitting.

I have the M60. However, I believe there is also an M40 and M30 that the only difference is the inlet & outlet port sizes. The M60 is 1/2" so I had to get bushings to fit my 1/4" quick connects.

Just an update so others know what cured my problem. The tank is kept dry with an inexpensive automatic drainer as suggested by Rsy. I curled 25' of air hose as suggested by bigtiller. I purchased a cheap (17 bucks) water separator that put at the end of the 25' curled air hose and I got one of these (m26) Motor Guard filters as suggested by 3T's. This last filter (Motor Guard) was probably not needed and maybe a waste of 90 bucks as when I disconnect it and run the compressor with just the water separator, no more spitting occurs. Bone dry. I am happy to have dry air for a change thanks to all who gave me a clue.
