The last time I used my walk behind snowblower (older Craftsman model) I found that the local ad agency was kind enough to leave the penny saver in the driveway under the snow. "Boom.. boom....FOOOMP" out comes a newspaper. Ever since then the auger separates a bit as it must have stretched out the distance between both of the sides of the blower and now the auger can slip out of the two pivots.
Anyone ever had something like that happen or have a good idea of how I can bend or weld it back. I have a feeling a ratchet strap would keep it together just fine, but I obviously don't want that on there when it is running. I haven't used it in years, but it fired right up the other day and I'd like to dump it, but want it working for whoever buys it.
