I'm very impressed. I just spent the entire weekend working the %^% out of the little Bota. I did things with this little tractor that I wouldn't even consider with the Ford 3000 I had years ago. I had the little bugger on two front wheels moving an old boiler...waiting for the axle to snap. No problem.

When I first bought it, I wasn't sure. The gears whine, it rattles, knocks and makes all kinds of interesting noises. The lift cylinders leak and fade. The front steering arms seem like they are about to fall out... on and on.

But now, I don't think there is much it won't do. If anybody asks. I WILL say:

BUY ORANGE!!!!

Sounds good, but I have a couple of questions: What the heck model do you own, and how old is it? If it is brand new then it sounds like it has some problems!/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

I have a 1979 B7100D with a factory loader. It shows 550 on the clock, but I don't believe it. It whines, creaks, rattles, grinds, clangs. It sometimes doesn't shift into second (worn shift forks). The rear wheels always loosen up. But, it always starts, it always lifts whatever I ask it to, it takes the absolute punishment that I give it and I couldn't be happier.

Remember to fill in the info on your profile. Thats what we all use to know what kind of stuff you have.

And go out and get something to hang off the back, like a boxblade. It'll give you another toy to play with and yet it gives you weight to keep all your wheels on the ground....

Enjoy! And don't forget to send some pics....

I actually had a 300lb counterweight hanging off the back already. Plus my 250lb frame sitting on the seat! It was a heavy hunk o' metal.
