Yes, it shouldn't be bad. I don't know if the built up area is threaded or if it is just the welded on nut. It is a 3/4"bolt. We haven't used the chipper in a while (we were hoping to today) but, I am pretty sure that the belts that came with it 49" were too long. Should have been 48". The regular belts couldn't handle it but, the kevlar belts can. The tensioner is maxed out but the belts are doing ok. We have a set of 48" belts to replace when needed. We need chips for the cow area!!!!!
