Technically, the site is owned by IMC Digital Universe, a web development company I'm a founder of. IMC is responsible for the costs that aren't met by the site's revenues... server costs, software, upgrades, maintenance, etc.

I was just going to post the question as to how it started when I found this.

I hope you/we can all keep it going free of charge and not "sell out"!!!
