Updates/post problem

Can't post w/ username, pages not updating correctly, but when logging in it does recognize user name and show qty. of new posts. Could this be a cookie problem or something on my end? Thanks

Not sure what you mean by pages not updating correctly, but...

- If your username is registered, you can't post as an unregistered user with that name. To post with that name you mus login. Otherwise, the forum will tell you it's already in use.

- New messages displays in forums, and on the main index, are only available to registered, logged-in users.

Thank you for quick response, I'll try to explain better.
1.Click on discussion, get the welcome back HR_Mutt message.
2.All forums list new messages
3.Click on Kubota owning, then open posts, it'll show empty folders w/ none of the threads showing new.
4.Was unable to post this a.m. even thou cookies enabled and the welcome message.
5.In the past, clicking refresh at the end of a session would remove the new posts that had been read. Now they don't go away.

Find the 'compact' cookie from TractorByNet.com, on your hard drive... delete it, clear your temporary internet files, then login...

There were 2 of them, compact[2] and compact[3]. Both deleted. No change. Just noticed I don't get the prompt for accepting cookie when opening discussions as it used to.(I set cookies to prompt for TBN only)
