Two other sources of Yanmar parts - don't know about availability of the specific parts you mention - are Hoye Tractor and Little Miami Trading Company. I've dealt with both and been pleased with the service.

Just take one to any bearing center , they will have a replacement . If they can't find a number they will just measure the cups and cross .

We have about 25 of the shafts on a pallet, mostly the male ends.

Why is it everyone breaks the female end of those things ??

I had to replace the u-joints in my shaft and had the same problem. Ultimatly, I was able to get a set close (but not right) from Baum Hydraulics. Before calling them, take your old joints apart and mic them. They will need these dimensions. I found a set that was close, but the width was just a bit too much. I couldn't get the C clip back in. I ended up grinding a small amount of material off the cross below each cup and that did the trick. I don't use the tiller very much, but it's been togther and through several gardens now with no problems.

Remember guys: These tiller are really cheap, but they're worthless with out that driveshaft! If you are getting a tiller, make sure it comes with the correct shaft and the joints are tight!

If you don't want to get an a assembly from Ernie then,
Just take the assembly to a drive shaft shop and they will match up and repair.
These usually break from tilling too deep, this creates a sharp angle on the u-joint and something has to give ( don't ask how I know this).
