This looks like a good plow. Can anyone tell by the pictures the condition of the ware parts etc.

It is a long way from me but it might be worth the effort. While restoring a plow sounds like a fun thing to do, I don't have the time or expertise. I am looking for a plow that will require very little time or extra money to "get it working".

What'da think?

Looks OK from the pictures. Hard to tell exactly what shape everything is in, but what I can see looks good.

Thanks FWJ,

Do you think my MF-1540 would pull it okay.

Also, I've been wondering about your "screen name". Is it "Farm" verb or noun?

Unless you're plowing ground that's harder'n times in '29, your 1540 aught to toy with that plow.

I never really thought about the screen name in terms of noun vs verb.... Kinda both I guess. I grew up on a farm and as soon as I could muster the cash to make a down payment, I bought my own place. To help pay the bills, I bought and re-sold used equipment along the way. I specialized in buying near new equipment that others had abused and not had much luck repairing. As I found newer (or better) equipment than I had for my own use, I'd repair it and sell the older/lesser stuff. It didn't take long before I had a full line of good, late model equipment with very little invested. In short, I took every one elses "junk" and farmed with it.
