Yes !! I honestly admit, that for those kinds of numbers, I'd be willing to d a road trip to.

Not to sound like a smart aleck, but I would try to lock some kind of a $ figure in with te dealer, Before !! I hit the road.

Mark, I am doing the same thing with the trailer that I mentioned in the 2nd reply of this thread. I'll be driving 1000 miles (one way) to pick it up.

Around here, a new 10,000 pound dump trailer goes for about $5k. I bought a 6 month-old 12K trailer for $2900. So before deducting my travel costs, I'm saving in excess of $2100. And I can pick it up cheaper than the buck to buck & a half they want to deliver. Yes, I am a frugal new englander. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
