That is exactly how I had my tractor/loader/hog on the trailer the other day,it put too much weight on the back and not enough on the hitch thus causing my sway.If I make anymore trips I am going to have to unhook the brush hog and lift it into my truck bed, then I could distribute the weight on the trailer better by having the ability to move the tractor forward on the trailer and put more weight on the tongue.

Scott,
If you try this without something else on the back of your tractor, you may still have a problem. Your profile doesn't say what tractor you have, but the other day I tried to lift my LP tiller out of my small utility trailer (much lower than a truck bed) without anything on the back of my JD 4400 and let's just say it was "exciting".

Ooh yeah! Pictures of Super Duty's. That's what I like to see.

Hoss and Inspector, you've both got nice looking trucks.

I'll add mine to the mix. It's a '99 PSD.

Nice rig Hoss, thats what I need...
I have seen a new Ford ( 6000?) around my town that has duals on it 4x4 and a regular pick up bed on it with extended cab, nice looking truck...looks like I would need a ladder to get in it.I don't ever remember seeing that heavy of a truck with a pickup bed on it...

Do you guys have a problem with the caps lock on your key boards? Seems like when ever you type "truck" it comes caps /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif. I guess I'm out numbered... no other Chevy's out there... Help!

Actually I have no preference. Attached is a picture of our wrecker it also has a 9' plow for winter. It was the last year they made the old body style, which I like better than the new Ford or Chevy. Ended with the Chevy due to some problems that Ford would not take care of because they claim it is a commercial use and voided warranty, that's a story all on its own. Then some stuff happened after warranty that just shouldn't be with a truck like that. So went with a Chevy, dealer was closer and better managed. We'll see if the Chevy can take it. We plow 100 commercial driveways in the mountains. One winter behind with no problems, we will see what happens in 5 years.

Not trying to stir things, just having some fun /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif!
