I am looking for a flatbed trailer to haul and have. Looking at used on craigslist but can't figure out the size I need.

I have or will have an mx5100 with fel and 6 ft grooming mower. I do not foresee have all this equipment of the trailer but you never know.

I also plan to use the trailer on property to tow around example fenicing stuff to put up fencing or go buy materials at lumber yard.

I came across some good looking home made trailer from a travel trailer frame. The only concern is that the 2 axles are at the 3/4 mark behind the hitch on a 32 ft trailer. I am thinking that too much tongue weight then if trailer is front or am I missing something?

depending on the size of truck you have id go with a 16ft to 20ft flatbed trailer.an i would not buy a homemade trailer that was once a travel trailer.because i dont feel its stout enough to haul the weight.

Here is a 16' + 2' bearver tail and an L3940. I cannot haul tractor and 6' bushhog at same time. Philip.

Looks like I need at least a 20 ft.

I have a 2008 f250 diesel

since you have a f250 id go with a 20ft min,or a 24ft rig.

Found out my GL5740 with FEL will no longer fit my 16 ft trailer.
Backed it on with the box blade sitting half over the rail Bucket was over the ramps.

Just thinking out loud here Can i add a 4 ft Tail to my trailer without moving axles? properly sized and welded of course?

My 16' (deck) is fine for hauling a 100 bales of hay but not so useful if the FEL and bushog are on. Pulverizer or finish mower are a bit shorter. If I really used the trailer more for moving the tractor I would be looking at a 20' trailer.

Similar question on trailer size. What size are most using for a BX 25? I looks like a 14 foot will work with both the loader and backhoe installed.

a 16ft trailer is as small as id ever use.

With your truck that trailer may be a good fit. I haul a m5400 on a 30 gooseneck and with mower on back its nice to be able to move around. You will just have to pay attention when loading it to tha amount of tongue weight.
