If the areas with depressions is limited I would fill with topsoil as suggested above, Use the fel to distribute the topsoil and back drag it ssmooth, rake if necessary.

If there are a multitude of places to fix I would buy/build a landplane to smooth up everything and might rent a tiller for this one time project. Then reseeed the entire lawn area as it is difficult to have a uniform appearance with lots of patches.

I typically use my box blade where I need to make substancial cuts and heavy grading. The landplane does a better job with smoothing whether on a driveway or lawn.

I tried to get some pics but I don't think they are detailed enough to help. I don't think ill have much more than 6-8" to level out in most areas but some are rather rocky and bumpy and I'd really like to get that torn up so I have a good base to work with.

I also forgot to mention the previous owners of my property had a dirt road exiting out the lower half of my property that I'd love to be able to get back to working order. That has some large ruts and is very rocky in parts.

I'm thinking a box blade will really be worth the 700 or so it seems ill shell out for one.

The box blade will pay for itself with the road project. Landplane idea is also a good one, but they tend to be pricey to buy. If your metalworking resources and skills are up to the job (mine aren't!), you can fab one up yourself.
