I have a 755. After using it an hour or so it gets hot if you are pulling it. I don't me over pulling it just normal use like mowing or tilling. The first thing I did was check the coolant and then washed the radiator out real good. I went back out and tried it and the same story after about an hour it started to over heat. The second thing I tried was a thermostat. It still wants to over heat. The only thing I can think of is the radiator needs replaced or a good flushing. Any one have any ideas. I also should mentien you can run it all day with out any problems if you aren't pulling it.

A few years ago my JD 850 was doing the same thing. If I worked it very hard (mowing, tilling, Etc.) it would overheat.
Tryed the same things that you have done also. (thermostat, washing out fins).
I took the radiator out and had is flushed/cleaned. No problems since. Cost was around $60.

I took my tractor to my John Deere dealer and it needs a new radiator. They are telling me that they so back ordered that it will be the second week in June before I can get my tractor back. I guess I can get by with out it.

Check with a local radiator shop and see if it can be recored.
You may be up and running much quicker and possibly cheaper if they can do it.
Worth a try.
Good luck..

Like Vince said, take it to a radiator shop. I would even venture to say that you might save as much as 50% if you take it out and take it there yourself.
