Buying Advice tractor options

In some cases, the FEL option includes an integrated grille guard, so the separate one isn't needed.

There's really no reason to keep the BH on full time if you have the rear tires loaded. Mine comes off easily enough, not sure about the K units.
Exactly this. Mind, the stock Kubota guard is designed for large impacts only, so you might want to take it somewhere and add some expanded metal to ward off sticks or other small debris.

Thanks, I seen a you tube video where he mentioned a more comfortable seat or deluxe seat with arm rests, I didnt see it on the Kubota site?

Also my B series has rear wheel weights, I think they are a big help in the sand I have to deal with, Kubota site mentions wheel weights but no picture, are these possibly the same and would you say they would be a wise choice?

It also is telling me that adding a front loader and grille guard isnt possible? I am pretty sure Ive seem it on You tube so Im assuming it has to be fact?

Can someone explain to me the rear remote hydraulic valves??? Would I already be getting these since Im ordering with a backhoe?

On the loader package they offer 2 options

1- HEAVY DUTY FRONT LOADER PACKAGE

2- HEAVY DUTY FRONT LOADER W/2-LEVER STYLE COUPLER

What are the differences? Im getting a quick disconnect bucket, safe to assume thats option 2?

Im also needing a grapler yet I see none listed?

On the backhoe they offer a rubber stabalizer, Im assuming that would be helpfull on a hard surface but useless on sand?

Yes you get rear Hyd connection with the BH, and as others have said, don't need to load the rear tires with the BH, and no need to add rubber pads - they are so you don't tear up asphalt and you can bolt on a chunk of rubber tire tread your self.

As far as the seat - this would be a dealer question - he may have something available or be willing to swap them out for a nominal cost. There are aftermarket options too if you don't like the standard one.

The grappler - that could be the BH Thumb and a mechanical one is what you get with the BH77 (a hyd one is very nice but $$$ 1000 or more. As far as a grapple, for the front those are nice but also $$$ and you need another valve and Hyd lines on the loader to use the grapple.

Since you are getting the QA bucket you might want to have the dealer add another set of remote hyd connectors on the loader at the bucket. This way you can add a grapple later (you can find them used).

The 2501 doesn't have a rubber deck and has the center hump - some options are stair tread rubber or anti slip, or modify a rubber car mat. I would live with it for a bit then decide.

If money is a big deal; usually is K&M offers a variety of seats at reasonable prices. Several companies offer grapples cheaper than the top brands. At the recommendation of our dealer, we passed on LP and got "no-name" Loflin and a Titan tree puller. I "usually" buy top of the line, but have backed off on recommendation of knowledgeable users.

As to the third function valve, we have one on our L5740 and control one off the rear remotes and Ken's Bolt on sell a diverter package. We keep meaning to build our own, but not enough time and the rear remotes work fine. Position of your levers will influence that decision.
