How does one determine these lengths? Would same dimensions work for a CK30?

I have my remotes, but need to get the cylinder/hose kits.

Simply measure the existing top and side links at their minimum and maximum lengths. All that I have ever seen are adjustable so just measure them from each extreme.

The stroke of the hydraulic links do not have to be exact but the side link is more critical than the top link. A few years ago I posted the results of having the side link stroke just one inch longer (4" to 5"). It makes a significant difference because of the fixed side link on the other side. One remedy is to replace the fixed side link with the hydraulic side link and use the adjustable side to even out the geometry.

I just thought of this after I sent the previous message.

Does the top hydraulic cylinder help in preventing the box blade from skipping?

By skipping do you mean bouncing? If so then no. The HTL will react in the same manner as your manually adjusted top link.

The primary function of the top link is to deal with the angle of attack. I suppose if you make the AoT shallower you will prevent bouncing but you will also lessen the digging capacity too.
