Is there a preassembled (designed/engineered for) TNT kit available for my DK35? Other threads on this subject refer to piece-mealing your own system and require heavy customization.

If not, does anyone have a parts list for a TNT system that will easily fit my DK35 and a reputable source for getting these parts? If I must go this route I am starting with only the tractor and need everything. Any suggestions and advice is very appreciated.

I don't think there is a quality kit out there for any brand tractor, with emphasis on the word quality.

If you don't already have factory remotes then that should be your first item to purchase. Once you have the remotes all that's left to do is purchase the cylinders that match or come close to the geometry of the existing adjustable links on your tractor. CCM has indicated that they will have another order of cylinders with check valves in February 2007. Read about it HERE. It's well worth the wait to get something that is basically plug-in and go. Otherwise you will have to fab your own setup.

The first thing you need to install is the remotes.
Kioti has a reasonably priced remote valve package for the DK 35.
The control valves for the factory remotes will be just to the right of the seat near the position and draft control levers.

I use the CCM top and tilt cylinders w/check valves on my DK 35.
The top link was a simple bolt on (no modifications).
I drilled an extra pin hole on the clevis of my tilt cylinder to shorten up the closed length of the cylinder.

I like the placement of the two controls. I envisioned them mounting to an arm off the ROPs. Can you educate me on what a check valve does? Apparently cylinders can come with/without these check valves.

Vince: If I understand correctly, I get the remotes from Kioti and the cylinders from another source? Do I need to purchase hydraulic hoses also or do they come with the remotes? Can you tell me the dimensions of your cylinders and if you are happy with them or would change anything?

I greatly appreciate the information.

Double pilot operated check valves will "lock" the ports on the cylinder until a a certain pilot pressure is applied on one of the ports. This essentially locks the cylinder, preventing drifting, until a pressure has been applied to the cylinder.

Cylinders typically do not come with these valves. You can buy add-on valves but they can get expensive when plumbing them comes into play. Your best bet is to wait until February for the next shipment of CCM TNT Valves arrives.

You can buy hoses from CCM or you can get them from Discount Hydraulic Hose. Get 2-wire 1/4" diameter hoses for the best results as this will allow you to feather the cylinders quite effectively. You will also need QD fittings which can be purchased from DHH. You should wait until you have all the parts before measuring for hoses.

Correct

Do I need to purchase hydraulic hoses also or do they come with the remotes?
No, the remotes include the control valves and the quick couplers, not the hoses to the cylinders.
I got the cylinders and hoses as a kit from CCM

Can't remember the dimentions off the top of my head, I will try to get some measurements for you..
And yes I'm very happy with my top and tilt cylinders..

Got a few measurements..

My hydraulic top link
2" bore
21" closed length ( pin center to pin center)
I believe it has around a 10" stroke or 31" extended length

Hydraulic side link
2" bore
17" closed length (pin to pin)
5" stroke
