I have Branson 2515 with BH150 backhoe. It is a subframe model.
The question is, when i attach the backhoe, should i extend the top link so it pushes on the backhoe or should i shorten it, so it pulls the BH towards the tractor. To keep it lose, the BH has too much play and jumps around, feels unsafe, and i lost the subframe pin twice because of it.

Asked the dealer, no help, tried to search the web, no love ether.
What do you guys do, push or pull?

I would say make it so it pulls. Generaly when your digging the outriggers would be down and pushing the BH up as far as it can go. So a shorter top link would alreaty achieve this.
