toothbar on dirtscoop???

I was just wondering if it would help any if a toothbar added to a dirtscoop would help in digging up roots and such.... I was thinking of it when i was digging in some real compacted dirt today..... I wish I had a FEL but I dont have the funds for one right now.. I have to work with what I got... If anyone has any ideas or comments please post....

Well I did it.... I made my own tooth bar for my TSC 30" dirt scoop... I have to just bolt it on tomorrow and test it out. I made it out of square tubing cut to a sharp degree and flat piece of metal to cut in to the ground...

It works very well..... I just got finished trying it out.... I dug up rocks which i couldnt normally do with the dirtscoop.... Moved small trees with the teeth. I can pick up and move 55 gallon drum around now with out worrying that it will tip over. The teeth are very strong....It ripped right through the roots.... I just have a little 18hp diesel Allis chalmbers compact and it filled it to the top of the dirtscoop which i couldnt even pick up....I dont have a digital camera but i did take pictures of it today...I will be posting a pic sometime this weekend hopefully.
