Quite often, I load my bucket with a shovel, rake, and limb cutters. I go out and do some trimming, raking, and such. On the return trip I would like to dump the clippings, branches, etc into the junk pile. Trouble is, the tools are in the bucket along with the junk. This means I have to climb down, remove the tools, climb up, dump, climp down, put tools back in bucket, travel back to the barn. There has got to be a better way. I'm thinking a rack located somewhere on the tractor to carry the tools that is independent of the loader. Ideas ? ?

Tractor Supply Company has a "carry all" for about $75 that mounts to the 3ph. I just purchased one for carrying landscaping tools, also. You can build a box or just use wood for the bottom and rear. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I bought a TSC Carryall and installed removable sideboards. I've used it to haul wood, tools, debris, drywall, garbage cans and many other things. I have a 10 HP portable Chipper/shredder that fits nicely on the platform. I use the Carryall to haul it to the job site and I just leave it on the Carryall while I do my chipping and shredding.

The Carryall is one of the most used implements that I own.

Here is another picture of the Carryall. I also made a dolly for it so that I can easily move it around when it is off the tractor.

Nicely crafted box on that carryall. I do have a carryall but I currently use it as a forklift type attachment.

JWE, my carryall resembles yours not that I got the sides on a while back. Great for toting firewood besides, weedeaters, etc.

Banjo, it is Bluegrass Music Month! It's what I'm all about, it's about all I do.

I still have to build some removable sides like you have, but have to say that the carry-all is a really, really good investment in an inexpensive yet useful attachment!

I made a 3pt hitch attachment to carry 5 J.D. suitcase weights. On the side of this attachment, I attached 2 three and a half foot pieces of 2 inch pvc pipe. The handle of my shovel and/or rake fit perfect in the pipe and they are out of the way of the loader. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is a modified carryall I use, I suppose you could remove the box and put a bed on the back without to much trouble.
