You guys got hammered last month, didn't you!

The culvert in front of my Mom's home washed out twice. It started as an old steel 18" which was quickly overwhelmed, replaced with a 24" which washed out the next day, finally stuck a 36" in which has withstood the latest torrent but the state inspector has not issued a ruling on it an will likely insist on a 48". That size would have been used at the time the 36" went in but there were none available at the time due to everyone else in our area needing them. Still raining steady today but things appear to be holding

Had to knock down the brush in front of our raised blind. Downside of logging, it gets thick.

Used the mini. Not what the blade was designed for but it's all I had.

Also worked on the aspen that is starting to get crazy next to blind

Eventually I want to make a food plot in this area, kinda extend our existing food plot. Not this year though.

Just takes time.

Was gonna take pics from inside the blind but sprayed some wasp nest, they were a little to pissed for me to go in there right now

I do gotta put a hydraulic oil cooler on this thing. My right side drive motor is weak and need to start looking for another one but the fluid gets way to hot which doesn't help.

I called it "mowing" and I should have called it rotary cutting. It was very thick in most places, but that field sat all day in the sun before I took the pict., so it dried down and doesn't look like much.

It was the first time cut this year.

All the guy wants is to have "nice looking fields", and that's what I'm trying to give him.

I had a loooong day yesterday rotary cutting, in fact I had so much to get done, I called in for reinforcements,

yup, I put my old cutter on a second tractor, and hired a buddy to help me for a day, and we got a LOT done!

But, I'm still not finished there!

IF you see a Massey, you are looking at an AGCO.

Yes sir. I wish Agco would have kept that name or Allis Chalmers on orange tractors instead of pushing Fendt here.

There were a lot of Massey's and AGCO's in this area because we have Skinners in Pickford Michigan that sold both, and we used to have Vivian's MF on this side of the border.

I didn't have any work to do today, my bush roads and trails didn't need any box blading, so I just took the Ford out for a ride around property.

After I gave her some new engine oil and Motorcraft filter. And flushed the cooling system. The stuff I drained looks green but it didn't test much better than water.
And changed the oil in the injection pump again.
