Looking good, Matt (y)
I have some serious mowing to do this weekend with the SS BH... if I get so inspired. lol

This project was a fun one for me this past weekend for a customer.
Sliced the center strip using the land plane and removed the center strip dunnage using the box blade and pulled to a dump area.
Then reconfigured back to land plane to pull up the compressed stone and evenly distribute.
To finish, I used the chain drag harrow.

The customer's husband had recently passed, so she was grateful to have some help around the property.
She has a few more areas for me to work on now that she has seen what I can do. (you will see a good size stone pile in the background of one of the photos)
These jobs are very satisfying to see the before and after results.

Very nice indeed. And welcome to TBN. Next time include some pictures of your equipment so we can see what it takes to do a nice job like that.

Driveways are looking good Mr. Matt. You put some time in to get those results...

You rightfully earned that feeling of accomplishment!

A couple of days ago, got the fleet lined up for a picture before I brought the little Agria back home again.

I spent another day on my rotary cutting job, I finally feel like I'm gaining some,

Still lots to go, but at least I feel like I'm getting something done.

There's lots of fish in his pond,

He's having a second pond that's bigger than this one, but not real deep, dug out with a long stick backhoe in another week or two.

I've been thinking about hiring a guy and putting a second tractor on this job to help me get it done faster. I did that last year and it worked out pretty good.

I bought a tractor not long ago and it came to me without any "sway chains" on the 3 point hitch, so I dug around in my parts department and made up a set from what I found there,

That was the last thing I really NEEDED to do on it, before I could put it to work, but there IS a few more things I want to do later...

If I ever get some time will get the bar with holes so can just use a clip to hold it in place as the turn buckle is like
a bad case of hemorrhoids

I finished planting my corn on Friday. I put in 2 acres of RR fieldcorn for the deer and 1/4 acres of sweetcorn (Kandy corn and Silver queen). I had also planted the same amount of RR, Kandy corn, and Bodacious on May 15 and that’s all up about 6” now.

After that, I went over to my neighbors and planted a little area of sweetcorn for him in an area he had rototilled. When I finished that, I washed out the fertilizer bins on my old JD 246 2-row planter and tucked it into the end of my woodshed.

Six hours today...smooth as a cue ball! It was the Rake's fault!

Looked for nearly 6 months for a good used Harley Rake. Found it four hours away, and icing on the cake - it was an 8 footer!

I missed the spring rain for grass seeding, but I'll be keeping an eye on the extended forecast with my fingers crossed for a spell of rain!

20240602_150401.jpg I need a few corner posts for work so brought some cedar logs home which were left behind after a harvest job.
Sunday I sliced a couple logs up, making 5 posts for them and a nice stack of 1" boards for me.20240602_145849.jpg

It's nice to be able to make them up at will. 👍

It must be - I'm jealous. Good to see some pictures of your mill work.

Looked after this customers driveway with my 1025R
Broke up the hard pan using the land plane, then pulled up the side grass creep and hand raked a few dunnage piles.
After I configured to the box blade and pulled some material to lighter areas.
Finished with the chain harrow.
I suspect this homeowner will be a repeat customer in the future :)

Thanks for looking!
