TO-20 ??????

Is there any way to determine what year of tractor we have if serial number is damaged to the point can't make out the numbers? We think it is a 1952 TO-20 Would like to clean it up and paint runs real well but primer gray is just good for this old girl.

Just above the steering wheel on the dashboard, there should be a plaque with the serial number on it. Serial numbers T0-00001 to TO-60000 indicate a TO-20. TO 60001 to TO 140000 is a TO-30. TO 20's were made from 1948 to 1950 as I recall and the TO-30's were made from 1951-1954. You can go to the Yesterday's Tractor site and get the year versus serial number in the Research & Info section.
