Ok you guys are my test field for my videos. I have found youtube is a much better quality video host

Well you kind of get to know a person a little better with video than just a picture. Its kind of like a train wreck you just can't help watching

I've had better luck packing the seed down, like driving over it with my turb tires to firm it in.

Yep, in my experience you don't want to bury the grass seed more than 1/4" or so...

Yea been there done all that LOL I find this works as good as anything else I have ever done. I had to till it anyway because it was pretty compacted. Raking in the seed seems to work the best. I prefer to roll it after the ground is wet. I know the birds eat well after any seeding. My real purpose of this thread is to experiment with making videos. I just want to stay on topic. lol
