That was a fun week.
Harvey, I'm on my third battery for the gate so time is passing. The only two issues with it in 7 years were when the ground shifted during the drought 3 years ago I had to adjust the spacer on the rails (it was getting in a bind), and mice damage to the electronics (had to order a few parts and plug them in). So far I have been able to do the maintenance myself. The support from the manufacturer has been terrific, even out of warranty they guided me step by step through the diagnosis.
We almost had to schedule a redo for Bernice's gate but the fire took a turn to the west last week.
The paint job Glenda and Karen did on the entrance is holding up marvelously. We are thinking of Glenda daily and pray for her recovery.
