The easiest way to bring joy to my wife is to paint something purple. She has purple polkadots on her car. (magnetic) We have a purple mailbox and a purple composter. If I want to make her feel loved and happy, a 5$ can of paint and 20 minutes will usually last for weeks. The tractor wheels took three cans and an hour but the payoff will last a long time. Her office walls? yep Even my competition benchrest gun is purple because when you spend 3,000$ on a hole punch it is wise to have the support of your dinner companion. I've never heard a peep about how much my guns cost.
