Yep.... everyone's making their moves. The other day I noticed the JD's are for sale on the Lowes website.

I knew Lowes was dropping Cub and picking up Deere but is HD picking up Cub and dropping Deere??? Why would HD drop Deere if that is what they are doing??

I don't know if they are dropping JD... just know that they are picking up CC. (Thanks to Gamble)

Last year John Deere was exclusive to HD. This year JD has changed that and allowed Lowe's to sell their product. Not sure it was a wise move for JD as Home Depot sold a ton of tractors for them. I think the change by JD has caused HD to bring in competing brands and carry less of the JD line. I liked JD because, even though more expensive, they were far better than the Yard Machine tractors and easier to sell.
