Temperature Sensor on a Ford 850

Got my hands on a Ford 850 today, it's going to be a labor of love I think. I've changed the water pump, got one from Steiners, and discovered the temp gauge can't possibly work since it's rusted off. I haven't been able to locate the temperature sensor on the block, or head yet so I thought I'd ask for some help. HELP!!!! I'll have pictures of the old girl (my wife named her Fern) up soon.

it should be on the right rear side of the engine just about on the same plane as the sparkplugs

Thanks joecdeere, I'l take a look next time I get a chance to work on that tractor. I think the wife has plans for this weekend since it's my birthday tomorrow and Memorial day weekend I think the tractor will have to wait a bit. I have also discovered that the hydraulic system is not working. I tried to prime the pump, it's a piston pump, and nothing much happened, except some oil seemed to squirt out the transmission fill hole. Took the cap of and there was major spray. I'm thinking the tube that feeds the hydraulic piston must be leaking as it passes through the transmission, and of course I have no idea how to get that fixed. More advice needed I guess ............
