Temp question and Timer

Well, heck of a fun day today... mowing the slopes I was afraid to get into. Found an old tire, an I beam, some cable.. Poor mower is short for this world..

So, the temp with slope mower is around 210 when I stopped this afternoon. I was wondering where that is in the PT world. I blew out all the fins, they definitly had dust on them. Going to have to build a probe to blow air as I do not want to pull the hood on the oil cooler all the time.

Also, the hour meter is dead on this. Will call Tazwell and double check the charts. Anyone have any advice on this?

My 1845 stabilizes at 210, or so when mowing.
Did you print the wiring diagrams Sedgewood posted? I think 1845 and 1850 are the same. If I'm reading my diagram right, the hour meter is powered by the accessory pole on the starter switch, from pole 4 on the front terminal strip. It appears to have its own ground, so you need to check if one pole is hot and the other grounded with key on, before you write off the meter. The hot pole on the hour meter also has a line to the main instrument cluster. That's working, so could be a dirty contact or bad ground.
