Taskmaster Tractor 426E

I am looking for a 4x4 tractor and came across a Taskmaster 426E. I am not looking for a tractor that will be used daily but more likely only a couple of times a month. I have looked this model up and have found they were made in China and are no longer in production. I need information on how available parts are and how durable is this brand?

Yeah, they're still made. TaskMaster is/was just an American rebranding of the Chinese name. The basic tractor is a DongFeng, or DF, or DFAM. They're still sold under those badges (and possibly others), and parts remain available.

I ended up buying the Taskmaster tractor. I just couldn't see spending twice as much for another Asian tractor. I ended up paying $8500.00 for tractor , backhoe and loader. The closest I could get was around $15000.00 for a similar size tractor and I can replace a lot of parts for the diffrence. I'll let you know if the gamble pays off.

I have a 2005 425A Taskmaster and am quite happy with it. Don't have a BH but do have a loader and rear blade. Good luck with yours.
