Is Tractor Ernie still active on this board? I need information on how to remove the pulley that drives the feeder roller on a China Model 6 wood chipper, powered by my YM1820d. I do not want to "muscle" it and destroy it. With some exceptions, If it does not go easy, you are doing something wrong.

I won't be able to post a picture for a while, on a trip. I am having a puller made for me to do the job. Will post pictures of before and after when the pulley is off. Thanks for your interest.

Can you use a large gear puller, they are cheap at Harbor Freight.

I checked Harbor Freight, they did not have what I need. The pulley is pressed on with about 3/16 inch clearance behind it, it is about 4 inches in diameter.

4-inches is close to 100mm in diameter.
