Hello tractor community, I am hoping to find some help from people more knowledgeable than me when it comes to Chinese tractors.
What I have is a Rhino 284 tractor that I bought a couple years ago that needed an injection pump, I bought the pump an installed it and it ran pretty decent. I bushhogged for several hours with it trouble free. My boy also bush hogged a few hours until the water pump seal went and it got HOT! So hot it combusted the crankcase oil and my dipstick and oil fill cap are long gone. This all happened last summer and I’m just getting around to looking at it. It still ran and was started several times since to be moved out of the way.
I pulled the head today to assess damage (excessive blowby) and oddly enough the cylinders look very decent considering the temps, the head gasket was starting to burn between the cylinders and the piston rings were in pieces also ring lands were mostly gone on both pistons between the second and third ring.
I’m tearing my hair out trying to find parts for this thing! It has the TY295 jiangxi engine. I can find parts for every other Chinese tractor but not the one I have. Someone please help before I haul it for scrap!
