Suspicious item detected...

Hi TBN technical team,

I thought I would pass along that the John Deere popup ad on the main TBN page sets off an Avast antivirus alarm for "suspicious item detected". Not sure if that is known to you or a problem but thought I would pass it along.

Which TBN main page? Home page? Forum page?

There are no John Deere popups running on our site right now. There's a John Deere ad but not on our main forum index page or the home page.

It was either on the page that comes up when I go to My Home or the main index. It is a good sized 1.5 x 4 inch popup of a JD tractor. It pops up if the cursor crosses the baseline ad which also shows a JD tractor and FEL pushing a bunch of words into a pile.

I started seeing it a few weeks ago but my Avast program just started alerting a few days ago.

Ok, I understand now. That shouldn't be suspicious but since it's a third party ad server your browser might be blocking it, depending on your security settings.

OK. Just wanted to let you know as Avast has never done that on TBN before.

adobe flash just released a security fix recently and the tbn ads seems to be based on adobe flash. I'd check your adobe version and update if needed.
