Suggestions for carrying chainsaw

I built a scabbard for my chain saw out of 1/2" poly tonight and was planning on mounting it on my ballast box by drilling and tapping some holes. As I was looking at where I had planned on mounting it I began to think that maybe I should mount it on the tractor somewhere? Maybe on the side of the ROPS? The tractor is a Deere790 btw.

Most of the time that I use the saw I also have the ballast box mounted, but on occasion it might be helpful to have it along when brush chopping. Has anyone got any ideas?
