Cargo Carrier Plus Ballast Box for Chainsaws and Junk?

Pretty easy to rip a couple of pieces of 1/4 plywood to the width and length needed to fit the chainsaw bar and use 1x2's as spacers. Glue it together. Then bolt it to the side of the ballast box.

As for the storage tote plastic, some have made dog houses from them. Variety of things can be done with them.

I stuck the cargo carrier on the box, and it works fine. I cut a piece of 1/4" plywood to put in the bottom. The paint takes a long time to dry, so 4 days for two coats. Still not done.

I put a tarp in the bottom temporarily to keep things from going through, and today I took two chainsaws, a helmet, a bottle of water, and a couple of screnches with me to the woods. Very convenient.

The only issue I have is that the carrier sticks out pretty far, so maneuvering in the woods is not as easy as it was before.

This is a good temporary solution. Maybe I'll find a way to mount the carrier closer in and higher in the future. I see no reason to get rid of it, because the construction is very good.
