Silvercoal are you sure it's not the right side where the woodruff key got stripped? That left side steering knuckle seems to still be a reasonable distance from the tire.

I just went out and looked at my YM240. The left front tire clearance to the steering knuckle is same as in your photo above. I would expect your tire to be scraping the knuckle, if the damage were on the side you photographed.
Well, I guess it's the right side if you're standing in front of the tractor looking at the nose. But from the seat, it's the left.

I just went out and looked at my YM240. The left front tire clearance to the steering knuckle is same as in your photo above. I would expect your tire to be scraping the knuckle, if the damage were on the side you photographed.
I double-checked that and I swear I can't see any change in the axle and tie rod assembly at all. I zero'd out the connector rod to the steering wheel, and all is as it should be. The only change is that driver side wheel being splayed out that 20 degrees.
