Starting a B7100

A friend will give me a 1980 B7100 that hasn't run for two years (but ran fine when last used). It's inaccesible to truck and trailer so I will need to start it and drive it out. Is there any trick to it? Is there a safety switch that may not be obvious? I was going to drain the fuel tank and replace with fresh but other than that was going to install new battery and give it a try.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to TBN.
If fuel filter you may want to change.
Let B7100 warm up well..engine & tranny if HST.
Check coolant also brakes are free.

Those B7100 are working mules.
