Well - I could have mentioned - - the ice cover on my lake is rapidly melting also. The grass on my lawns is greening up too.
I will - undoubtedly - get more snow. But like the last five years - it will probably be all melted in a day or so.
Don't you know - the PNW is becoming a banana belt.

I see water around the edge of my pond, we've had 40's - 50's the last few days. No real winter so far. There is a winter storm watch for Tues, with up to 7" forecasted. That means we'll get one or two inches... the Amish did cut ice last week, it was ~6" thick. My pond is no where near that, but it gets full sun.
