I'm with you on this on getting aboom mower, / masicator. guy came in to clear the gas line using one, (this appears to be a 7' brush hog mounted to the end of a 30' track hoe) blades are mounted much like a brush hog too, only they are 1"+ thick and 2' + l;ong mounted to heavier 3" thick X shapped, (so 4 blades at least on this one as I got up close look see! and was very impressed! lol) it would grind to pulp pretty much any and everything down to the ground that was 6' oaks and 12" soft woods! starts at top and push down just like feeding into a big chipper/shreader! wheh what a noise and oh ya stay back far far FAR back! lol... 3~4' hunks/splinters tossed 50+ feet!
he did 900' in about 4 hrs of heavy fence row flat to ground or to the fence and I got the up close look when it ate a few hundred feet of old rotted barb wire, needless to say the guy wan't happy. (it was an all day job of 7 or so hrs but it took 2~3 hrs clearing the barb wire form the head... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I finally drove the golf cart out to ask if he wanted cutting torch and in about 15 min we were done after that...
