Cleaning up the welds on the other fender.

I used my mag-drill to hold the inner brace in place while I tacked it, worked like a charm. I had a few good welds and a few that....well..wasn't.

Fenders done (thank God). They were a pita to get them to look this good. They are not perfect (not my best work) but they will do. A few have suggested that I put a brace on the front and back of each fender and I think I probably will. Here's a few pics of my version of drive-over fenders.....After much thought and in order to save weight, I removed the mag after they were welded on, they just look better without it....

Braces for the fenders. I went ahead and drilled and tapped for running lights before I welded them on. I kinda liked the look better without them, but I know they'll make them a lot stronger.

Welding upside down is always a challenge for me.

I decided to change the tongue jack for a heavier one sense I sometimes like to unhitch the trailer with it still loaded. I'm going to install an 8000lb side wind, drop-leg style jack. Here's a 3/8" plate I made to hold the jack, it has a 4" channel gusset under the plate. Hope to get the jack welded on later tonight.
