Take the old seal out. Take it to a store. Say here, I need a new one just the same size as this Problem solved. I have replaced thousands. NEVER bought one from the manufacturer.

Any good bearing shop will sell seals by ID/OD and type. So, along with the old seal, you may want to grab accurate diameters on the shaft and bore, before heading to the store.

You can sometimes get the old seal out with minimal distortion by drilling a small hole in the face of the metal case of the seal, and screwing a sheet metal screw partly into this hole. This can be used with a small nail puller or claw hammer, one on each side, to withdraw the seal with minimal distortion or damage. Just use a collar on the drill bit or choke it short in the chuck, to prevent overshooting into the bearing behind the seal.

I'm gonna get a micrometer and have to measure it I guess and go that route

Well, if you clean the metal casing of the seal reall well, you may find some identifying numbers stamped on it. So, you may not need the measurements, but always better to have them handy when you're standing at the parts counter.

A lot of the blades are pretty generic for rotary mowers like this, so you may have luck finding an exact match thru Tractor Supply Co. if not, buy the closest thing that can be machined to match, and then throw a post up on the Practical Machinist forum. Plenty of freelance or moonlighting machinists there, who are happy to get an odd job like that.

Tractor supply needs help. Nobody in the ones near me know where or what anything is. Pitiful I tell you

As others have said, get ID of seal location in gear box housing and OD of the shaft also depth of seal housing........ Inexpensive digital calipers should be accurate enough....

Take numbers to good bearing supply house.... OR spend some time online (MCMASTER?)
