Looking for a L6060 Rops a couple months ago and found out that there was not one in the state. After some searching I did find a 5460 rops locally on the lot but looked like older stock. I decided to buy it anyways as dealer said he did not know when he could get new stock and could take 6 months or more.
I had him order turf tires for the tractor only to find the tires are on back order. They did inform me last week that the rear tires did show up. So its been over a month waiting on tires. Happy they had the other items in stock that I wanted...
If you want a new tractor I suggest start looking now, here is a video from messicks that tells the way the market is going Buying equipment in 2021? We need to talk. Planning purchases ahead. - YouTube

I just bought the 2020 year model MT225S LS. The dealer I contacted had 2 on the lot and 24 ea. 2021 units on order. Best I can read, 2020 is the first year for the S version (buyer beware on first year something is out) but it is a minor upgrade, primarily creature comforts, from pretty much identical prior models having incorporated new features apparently from customer feedback; competitor's models. Other thing was the $15,500 was attractive with loader, taking 2 tractors in on trade and 200 mile free delivery within the week, not waiting for who knows what price and how long till delivery. I am utterly thrilled with the engineering that went into this unit.

My neighbor has the 225-S, and I have the 225E. Both are tough little tractors! Good luck with yours.

If you look at dealer inventory across the nation, it's probably at 20-25% of what they used to have. Hopefully it will change soon! I saw a news clip that showed 40 container ships sitting out in the harbor off the west coast. There are goods out there, they just can't get them unloaded in a reasonable amount of time.

I hope things get better than last year... I am in the marine business and the boat inventory was sold out early last year with no new inventory. Many boat items you just could not find for inventory such as props. All suppliers had nothing to ship.
The 5460 was the only L series tractor he had in stock. He had a few mx, b and bx on the lot though.

I don’t know. The Ford plant here stopped production due to semiconductor shortages.
Still a screwy economy.

We tried to get a bicycle for the wife and a refrigerator. Neither in stock and no date to arrive.
Parts for my tractor seem fine so far.

I think you will be pleased with the 5460. I actually wanted to buy a 4760 but got a better price on the 5460 because the tractor had been on the lot for several months and there had been a couple of price increases. The 5460 has not lacked power for my uses. I still believe the 4760 would have worked for my needs. The 6060 seems to sell much better than 5460.

Semi-con shortages are pushing deliveries out to 46 weeks and I hear them talking it may go beyond. To meet our business needs, I have to place orders a year in advance of delivery now. Truly nuts.. and the great thing is, the foundaries are not promising the parts you order will be shipped per the order. Meaning - who knows if we will have the parts we need to keep the business going.

We make diagnostic tools for VW brand cars. If we cannot supply the tools, how will repair be accomplished? The trickle effects are tremendous. We are all are just starting to see the effects of Covid. What if people do not go back to work in their offices? What happens to all that real estate when people are able to work from home? What happens to an economy with all that real estate and no renters? What happens when retailers cannot get goods? on and on and on... Don't worry, the governments of the world have all these things figured out. The money printing presses will just keep pouring out paper. Why is Bit coin becoming such a thing? Answer: People know paper will soon be worthless.

I'm sure many can make similar stories here. I need to stop hijacking the thread but it is "something to think about".

My 6530 is shuttle shift and I liked it. I was going to go with the E model with shuttle before the dealer told ma about the S and said I would like the hydro and no whine. I checked and it looked like it would meed my needs. The clincher was he said he would have to locate an E and go get it whereas the S was on the lot. Checked it out, went with the S, have 5 whole hours on it now but I do like it and just like my hydro lown mowers, it is easy and no stress on the left knee which i have to watch.

Yeah, I think I will be good in hp. For the little extra money thought might as well get the 60hp, but honestly I dont think I will feel the difference of 6hp for what I will be doing with the tractor. I run the tractor mostly on turf and dolomite, so prefer not to run the industrial. So still waiting on the front turfs as of now...
