I am considering a 32hp tractor such as the JD 4310. Is this enough power for the five and a half foot dual stage blowers out there? Thanks.

It depends on the type of snow you are dealing with but that should be enough HP. My tractor is 24HP and it handles my 5 foot two-stage snowblower except in heavy downfalls (more than a foot) of very wet snow. In general, my experience is that it takes about 5 to 6 HP per foot of snowblower to do a good job.

I had a 32HP Ford 1910 with a 66" snowblower. It worked well. If you have heavy wet snow you may have to adjust your speed. I had turf tires and ag tires. The turf tires were wider than the snowblower. In the winter time I switched the turfs out for the ags, set on narrow.

I'm running a 78" blower on 30 PTO hp without a problem. 3inches or 3feet, the AgroTrend does a fantastic job.
