Snow Snow blade for BX22?

Has anyone purchased a 60inch power angle front snow blade for their BX?
Just wondered if it was worth the $$$ and time to invest in one.
I already have the 4 way valve on my BX22 So it would cost me around $1500 for the blade and subframe.
It seems to me it may be useful but I like to get educated opinions first before dropping any cash for such a purchase. Thanks to everyone in advance. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have the blade and love it. I used it last winter to plow our subdivision's road and 7 of the neighbors' driveways. The road is close to 400 yards and each driveway is probably at least 50 feet. The hydraulic angling really makes the blade a pleasure to use because you can quickly move the blade to any angle. It's a very heavy duty blade, and you'll want the skid shoes too.

I have a 2200 and bought the manually adjusted angle blade. It is quick connect to the sub-frame and I really don't change the angle that much while plowing.
The blade is used for light snow or plowing when the ground is not frozen. For heavier snow I use the bota front mount snowblower. Last winter I kept a 300' gravel drive open without any problem!

Looks like a great setup! It looks very well built. How hard is it to install and remove? I am thinking I would like to be able to switch to the front end loader for piling the snow and such.

Nice picture, but what is that ugly green wart on the back of a beautiful BX2200????? LOL...... Maybe Santa will bring you a couple cans Kubota Orange spray paint..........
