I use the 2-in-1 gas cans. One side is 1.5 gal of fuel, the other is 1/2 gal of oil. The spouts it came with are horrendous. I've just been too occupied (or lazy?) to find alternatives that work better.

In searching for an image I discovered they make a saddle pack for this type of can. This is now on my shopping list.

The only improvement I can think of would be two EZ-pour spouts instead of those new ones.
When I saw that double can my first thought was this guy-girl. 20200617_175256.jpg20200617_175540.jpg

I tried one of those spouts once. It was terrible. The threads didn’t match up and it leaked even worse. I now stick exclusively to No-Spill, SureCan, or Justrite metal cans. I threw all my EPA plastic jugs away. Hated them.

When re building a carburetor I smear the gasket with grease, it makes for a good seal and can be reused a few times.

I use a good shot of Pam on the gaskets. I realize it's one more thing to keep in the shop but it's less messy and it does the same thing.

That’s actually a good tip. I have 2 ATVs, both with leaky petcock valves. Replaced both but they still leak (stupid cork gasket design). I’m going to try your silicone grease idea.
You can also use never sieze on gaskets before assembly.

When you want to reuse your nitrile gloves, use compressed air to inflate them a bit for easy removal without having to turn them inside out. The air also dries your sweaty hands so they slip off easier.

Works for condoms too. (Apparently). Be sure to wear eye protection.

For those who use rattle cans and hate the shaking, if you own a sawzall, take a 12" blade and some hose clamps and make your own mechanical shaker! Have used duct tape and also electrical tape in a pinch. Sure is quicker and easier for those of us dealing with Arthritis!

I may have to use this tip seeing that Harbor Freight has not had the gloves in months.

Our HF has had gloves for over a month now. Limit of 2 boxes and the coupon still works.
They may sell out late in the week but a new shipment comes every Thursday.

I like to turn mine inside out so that the inside of the glove can dry out too. When I want to reuse the gloves I just blow them outside in with my mouth. If they are to dirty to turn outside in it's time for a clean pair.
