Sicklebar mower ID

I am looking at an older sicklebar mower. Owner says it is a Massey Ferguson. It has no ID plate, but I have found some numbers. On the front of the mechanism that drives the bar [wobble box?] there are as follows:
< MHF > 667018M2. On top of this part is: M2
There is a small plate that is not clear, but appears to be: L-4-M.
The mower is a three point hitch, and is belt driven. It appears to be in good condition and runs fairly quietly.
Any help with identification and value would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry for all the questions.
I decided to try to cut a little, but after I lowered the bar and before I started to cut I caught the end of the bar in some heavy grass and the release activated and allowed the bar to swing back. I see where the pin locks in under a spring, but do not see how to replace the bar in position. Do I need to loosen or remove the spring? Any suggestions welcome.

If you lower the 3 point on the tractor with blade out, then back up slowly, the female toe clamp receiver under that spring will catch the male part of the trip. Ken Sweet
