Shop Lift

I went and picked up my lift and this thing is heavy but I hope to get it together soon. With family obligations it may take me as long to get it together as it did for them to ship it. o_O
Working alone. it took a few days to assemble mine. I rented one of these SSQA boom attachments for my tractor to do the heavy lifting:

It turned out to be so handy, I wound up buying one.

I see u made your choice, it will be a great addition for you.

I went with Mobile column lifts after much consideration a few years ago

Wireless, cordless, 13k lbs per column (52,000 lb total), stay against the wall when not in use, roll anywhere to use, frame end lift or wheels. I like them

We used similar ones to lift fire department ladder trucks. Tad bigger though.

Nice!

52,000 lbs is more than i will need by a factor of 2 unless I add the runway ramps for the dozer

I would have to use them outside to lift the wheeled excavator

My dad has a Rotary 2 post rated at 12k. My brothers and I purchased and installed it for him. Between him, and my brothers there is ALWAYS someone using that hoist. One of those things we did without for years, and once we had one, we’d never go without one again. 2 post works better for what we do.

I agree.

In my gang, I'm the only four post. Three other 2 post hoists available at any time.

If I had a shop big enough for two, I'd have one 4 post and one 2 post. Perfect scenario.

When I went to pick it up, I read on line that it would fit on a 16 foot trailer, that was close but it did good and made it home safe.

Looks like that concrete pad slopes a little to the right in that picture (to the read of the VW). How did you level that up? Or, does it matter?

Optical allusion, I was a little down hill from the concrete pad when I took the picture.
